Hello Everyone!
We are back to school and getting back into the swing of things. Since we are going back to Language Arts, I thought it would be fun if we did some writing about the holiday. I would like the students to be creative with this. They can make up a story, poem, song, poster, art project, pretty much anything explaining their Thanksgiving and how it went. If students do not celebrate Thanksgiving, then they may write about something fun and exciting they did on their two extra days off from school. As always projects will be due at the end of the week. Have fun with this project and remember be creative! Think outside of the box! I like the idea of incorporating the holiday as an assignment. Also giving the students the choice of their writing style and form of either story, poem, etc will greatly enhance their creativity, and give them something to look forward to writing.
